With this "Cote d'Azur Dreaming" art collection, Theresa mimics on paper the work of the Eleven Six knitters in Peru, who use the finest spun Alpaca yarns and Peruvian pima cottons to create Eleven Six's signature knits. Each artwork is hard pastel on handmade paper — a mixture of cotton and abaca (pre-processed inner bark from the stems of a banana plant) — with natural deckles. Figures, florals, limbs, pops of stripes and color, and flashes of sea and sky reflect the Spring 2022 knitwear collection — evoking a sense of languid warmth, medieval architecture, and the deep blue of the Mediterranean. Each piece is professionally framed in a contemporary, beveled, light wood gallery frame.
