Perhaps no introduction is needed... to the prolific and exceptional ballerina talent: Isabella Boylston. We had the absolute honor of talking to Isabella about being the principal ballerina at American Ballet Theatre...
Meet ELEVEN SIX WOMAN: Molly Nutter: A beautiful woman my path crossed with a few years back at an intimateRavenwooddinner event in Upstate NY . I was immediately struck by Molly’s warmth, bold yet understated, cool style and her confident yet modest manner. I then came to learn of Molly’s successful career heading up Fashion Buying at the prolific lateBarneysand for the French brand:Celine. A natural friendship blossomed with many common connections. Pre-pandemic, Molly left New York for a new venture taking a President role at the Austin, Texas institutional boutique:ByGeorge. We were inspired to capture Molly in some knitwear pieces from our Spring 21 collection in the place she now calls home at her 30’s era cottage nestled in one of the old, original central Austin neighborhoods.
MeetAlexis Arvidson: an acupuncturist, herbal medicine practitioner, teacher of wellness and stylish mama of two. I met Alexis soon after moving to Ulster County through a wonderful entrepreneurial group of mama’s. I was struck by her natural beauty and calm ease of self. In time I came to have some acupuncture sessions as I was curious to explore the benefits and get to further know Alexis within her work and practice. Prior to this, my acupuncture experience and scope was limited but Alexis has opened my eyes. A session with Alexis is transformative, her very presence is a soothing tonic...she allows you to let your body and mind pause for a precious moment in time from the constant juggle of it all and after, you feel truly reset. With the turn of the year, a focus on new intensions and self-care it felt nothing more than natural to collaborate on an ELEVEN SIX Women story with Alexis to set us off on the right note...
We met with Alison Newton: the Co-founder ofFriends of Jenny- an online boutique and community. We took a stroll around her home neighborhood in the West Village and chatted about her vision for the recently launched FOJ business, silver-linings of this wild, pandemic year and places we dream to travel soon! Ali selected her favorite ELEVEN SIX pieces from our Pre-spring 21, cozy alpaca collection. PS - Our ALI T-neck Sweater is a piece we named after Ali ...whilst dreaming up this staple sweater we were designing for an ELEVEN SIX Woman that Ali represents. We adore Ali’s modern yet eclectic style that is epitomized within the Friends of Jenny DNA.
